- It's mostly text, no weird and wonderful
graphics to slow your computer down. The
information available here is the important
thing. If you want entertainment, there's plenty
around elsewhere. Not only does it save me a lot
of time and trouble programming all that glitsy
junk, it's also a lot easier for people with
vision problems to read stuff on this website.
- Privacy - I don't subscribe to any kind of
tracking services to harvest email addresses nor
do I have any intentions of digging into my beer
fund to pay someone to find out if you've visited
my website from Booneystan or from just down the
road. Should you want to email me, I got better
things to do than collecting names and addresses
and hoping to sell them.
- Cookies - I love them, especially macaroons or
oatmeal and raisin. When it comes to computers
though, I think it's plain bad manners for anyone
to assume it's OK for them to use my computer
without my permission. I'm guessing you might
feel the same way so this website does not
generate cookies.
- Pop-up, pop-under windows - naw, I don't like
them either. If stuff keeps popping up or under
while surfing this website you better check out
your machine because this website is not causing
them - Ad
Aware is a fabulous piece of freeware
that'll help you clean your computer.
- Java - a neat programming language. But, you a
here to visit my website - not to let me take
control of your computer with my funny stuff.
There are a few exceptions: the funky
mouse-overs, page hit counters and a couple more.
Nothing happens to your computer or mine when you
do it. A few people told me they couldn't see
them, or the letters weren't there so I added the
regular text buttons so everyone can get to the
places they want to go.
- Flash - pretty neat stuff but since a lot of
folks have turned off that feature on their
browsers...
- It has taken me many many hours to put all of
the information on this website together.
Considering most all of it is free, gratis, no
charge - if there's anything in particular you
like or dislike, I'd appreciate it if you would
drop

- Tinnitus really sucks - I truly hope this is
not the reason for your visit. If it is, here's

- Banjo - a passion in life for me. I've worked
out a lot of arrangements in three finger and
clawhammer styles at various levels of skill. If

- Emailing me - If you want to email me for
whatever reason, I'm one of them old fashioned
stick-in-the-mud wackos to whom good manners are
important. A "Hi Bart" to start your
message and telling me your own name at the end
of it does wonders to your chances of getting a
reply. You might want to skim over my other email pet peeves.
